"I've been in the world of dresses for over 15 years through my work as a women's portrait photographer and bridal boutique owner.  My love of dresses however originated from childhood, in fact I designed my first-ever dress for a Cinderella film when I was about 12 - determined to create a worldwide selling feature from our farm in Northern British Columbia with our friends and neighbours.  

I've always been obsessed with the way a dress can transport you and turn any normal occasion into a memorable one. I love how a dress compliments the beauty of its surroundings and have found so much inspiration in the outdoors. particularly the countryside and my love of England - where I was born.  I love how we meet the different versions of ourselves through witnessing and wearing a beautiful dress. They are wearable pieces of art and it's exciting to step into this world as a designer and founder to express this love through my own eyes and imagination. 

This first collection has been an absolute labor of love and learning. My respect and awe for the designers we carry at my bridal boutiques, White Willow, has exponentially grown throughout this process. It is certainly not for the faint of heart but very much worth the journey - advice from the start by those who have walked the path. 

I see the creation and evolution of art to be more a necessity in our world today than ever. I've evolved many times over my career and I'm happy it has led me here. I can't wait to share it all with you!"
